weve been invaded and no one noticed?
Discussion
The Chief Minister Peter Caruana has asked the UK Government to take ‘Effective Action’ to uphold British Sovereignty of Gibraltar’s territorial waters.
...These comments follow the collapse of relations between the Gibraltar Government and Spanish Central Administration in Madrid. This also follows a considerable period of time in which the Spanish Government including their main principal enforcement agency, who have all but physically taken over control of the waters surrounding Gibraltar!
These never-ending confrontational incursions into Gibraltar waters, including the many provocative statements, culminating late last month when the Guardia Civil broke the rules book including local laws when they violently assisted a Spanish national to escape, this person at the time being under lawful police arrest by the RGP and in British jurisdictional waters.

Perhaps ive missed the uk news? or is it they report differant news here in spain?
Gibralter was "Invaded" by Spainish police who by force removed a Spaniard who had been arrested and put in prison.
Is this not an act of war?
So, a detachment of Marines landed on a Spanish beach instead of a Gibraltar one in 2002 when they stormed from a landing craft on to the San Felipe beach in the Spanish town of La Linea, carrying 60mm mortars and SA80 assault rifles, and took up defensive positions on the sand.Gibralter was "Invaded" by Spainish police who by force removed a Spaniard who had been arrested and put in prison.
Is this not an act of war?
Spanish were not pleased but they didn't go all stupid and declare an act of war.

Genuine question, as I know nothing about either story
