non stick

there's non stick, and non stick as i understand it. even a pretty expensive piece of ovenware allowed some home made sausage rolls stick to it today, so what's the answer?

silicone? spend more? live with it?

Even if its non stick I always brush the pan with oil first or use a backing mat just to be sure. Works every time!!

Silpat sheets are the long term solution or just silicone paper for cheapness.
