Resizing for Clickpic

Followed the instructions in the use guide to resize photos but they sare still too big (13 MB). Photos from a 20D.

Any idea what I am doign wrong/what I need to do to resize them properly.

Sounds like a non jpeg file size?? Are you trying to upload RAW/TIFF or some other crazy format?

When I had a Clikpic site I think it was limited to 600px height 800 px width. That should usually be around 500k in size

They're JPEGs, high not maximum quality as suggested and processed in Elements

Image/Image size and change the pixel size to something like 800pixels on longest side??

Have you changed the dpi to 72?

In PS

- Save for web & devices

- make longest side 750px - apply

- adjust quality settings to suit

- Save to appropriate folder

make sure you do not save the original at this size, I did it last week and have lost that jpeg at full size (I still have the RAW file)

I use clikpic, it's a good site
