Where is this?

Trying to work exactly where these were taken. Although they are a few miles apart.

I believe they are near Ullapool. Asking here as I know a few of you know the area.

That bottom one looks like it was taken by the sea .

The top one is Ardverck Castle on Loch Assynt. 25 miles north of Ullapool.

I think it's Balnakel, north of Ullapool... I have def been there...there is a golf course out of pic left I think.

Second one looks to be Leirinmore or so, which is a couple of miles from Balnakeil.

Locations as described above, Google Streetview shows not a long walk from the car for either of those shots!!!!

I remember doing a Geology field trip there in about '98.

I was in a hurry that day lol.

Fantastic roads. Fantastic scenery throughout. Loved every minute of that drive. (Which is kinda why I didn't take many pictures, and those that I did take were mostly from the driver's seat).
