Removing glue

Any idea how to safely remove the excessive amounts of glue TVR managed to put all over my leather?

I when I bought mine from brand new there was loads of glue everywhere and I removed it with white spirits. 10 years on there is no damage so it must be ok.

There is a substance called glue remover. It removes glue. (contact adhesive). Don't drink it.

I think Nail varnish remover, which is Acetone, may work.

PS, my wife has just told me this may not be a suitable method for leather.

I asked the same question on another forum, they also reccomended white spirit, "glue remover" and said acetone might not be too good on the leather.

Have yet to try any of the methods yet though, I so far found scrubbing the leather hard with leather cleaner seems to have some effect but will probably takes ages

A very light engine oil does the trick.

Cellulose paint thinners, but test it on a non visible bit first, should it remove any dye.
