If you ever wondered what it looked like, you can see 3 faces of it in the link below.
Truly mind boggling & thoroughly depressing.

what harsh (suspended) sentences they got. justice my arseCan anyone provide an argument, convincing or otherwise why the death penalty should not be used on two if not all three of them?
There can be no doubt of guilt, no excuses that it was a first offense or anything else.
Why oh why shouldn't they pay the ultimate price for their crimes?

Because the UK is part of the EU.The EU is civilised, supposedly, and banned capital
punishment years ago.
Only a few of the more extreme US states, like Texas,
still have capital punishment.
Mind you, I've never really understood why, in order
to save money, some of the more recalcitrant UK prisoners
can't be relocated to a cheaper country, like somewhere
in Africa or Asia.
But then their relatives would find it hard to visit.

For that matter the group on the train should get a long spell in third world jail too.
We ought to put these prison sentences out to tender for the lowest bidder.
