Always liked the look of the 3000M

I saw this on the net and it looks great - toyed with the idea of buying one before I bought the S4.

I own a Taimar, 3ltr v6 and love it, so the turbo i can only imagine is even better..

I of you buy it as soon as you open the door that 'old leaded fuel and leather' smell will hit you and put a smile on your face, it certianly does me

Not only that, you get to be the owner or a very rare car and breed.. only 395 Taimars ever built.. and you will own 1 of 20 turbo'd

I always liked the look of them and wanted to buy one in particular just before the S, the price was too high for me though.
I have never seen one other than in photos. I guess that proves how rare they are.
I seem to remember seeing Youtube footage of a 3000 Turbo on the road absolutely tanking along and sounding amazing.

I had 2 x 3000Ms and a 1600M and they were the reason I bought my S2. They are really nice cars

Next year get yourself to the pre 80's TVR event - usually in or around Nottinghamshire as thats where the guy that organises it lives - usually quite a few there including a handful of turbos.

I had 2 Taimars in the Eighty's.They where TVRs Flagship model of the day.They had a far Superior Build quality to the S1 i replaced it with.That rear window really set it apart from other Sports cars.

Lovely looking 'M', price likely to go up a lot more before auction ends, a Taimar turbo(with unoriginal janspeed turbo) needing a fair bit of work went for £7500 couple of months ago
