Critical analysis please ?

I've just tried my first attempt at post manipulation (but using paint.net not photoshop).
I was staying in the Jersey Radio Tower so could pick and choose light conditions during the day. Couple of the shots are obviously just scene setters, but would love some critique on my arty ones as I'm quite pleased with them...

Not a landscape person by any stretch, so looking at it on a general whatIsee basis, your opener is fairly strong, but the main area where I found myself looking wasnt at the lighthouse, it was the white patches in the sky. Highest point of contrast
Second one - same again, blown highlights that I'm guessing has come from HDR/merging, third - your framing is a little off and foreground attention makes me jump around abit. Same issue with the fourth.
7 though, makes up for anything that may have niggled earlier. It's a beautiful photo, nicely done

I too love 7. 10 would be good with a bit of work.
Horizons need to be straight. Mostly they are not.
They are pretty grainy. If that's what you're after then fine, but they are not grainy enough.! If they are not supposed to be grainy then you should run them through some sort of noise reduction software. (or take photos with lower ISO and longer exposure times - needing tripod)
Contrast is down in some (number 1 & 9) and there are blown highlights in others. Exposure bracketing will help.
Generally liking the compositions. Nice ideas.

Thanks both, all I can see now are slightly off horizons, and all off at exactly the same angle

Over/Under exposures are generally due to my technical ineptness, lack of tripod, and over excited about new software
Grainyness to, due to failing light and not having tripod or large aperture lens, although I do like the grainy effect when going B&W. Now sorted with a visit to my friends at Amazon - nice 50mm 1.4 and a 17 quid tripod.
I fear the Ardbeg Corryvreckan is why my horizons are slightly off.

Buy yourself a tripod with a spirit level built in, or get one of the ones that attaches to your flash hotshoe. I agree with the other posters, but to offer meaningful critique you really need to choose one shot and get people to comment on that. I'm happy to spend 10 minutes tearing a single shot to shreds, but not spend 1 minute tearing 10 shots to shreds sorry.
