After a string of wierd and wonderful cars(read: money pits), including Mk1 golf, westfield and a '71 beetle, i went in search of a two seater again. With about 6k to spend i was looking at 944 turbo's(i know not a two seater but might have got my twin boys in it) and early elises but then found a Chimaera about ten miles from my house. Thought the insurance would be stupid so checked and got a quote for £800 for the lotus a £175 for the thumping V8. Went down, had a look, the guy started it and i was sold!!!
Body off chassis resto just finished by previous owner. New pro race 1.2 and vw corrado/cerbera mirror conversion carried out by me.

Correct rear tyres fitted and corrado mirrors.
(Sorry phone pic)

As i bought her.
Love being a TVR owner, feel throughly British.
Plus when i test drove the Porsche sat at junctions for an age whereas in the TVR people let you out.

For £6000 inc chassis refurb I think you have a bargain. Enjoy.
A few little marks on the body but shouldn't have to worry about the underside for a few years. Sick of show ponies so looking forward to using at every opportunity. Hopefully getting le mans booked soon.Gassing Station | Readers' Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
