just wondering is there a ocrrect way to stow the roof as the rear window is brand new,on putting it back up its already starting to crease,dont want it to split.cheers

The chap I got my S off used to roll a towl up and place in between the rear window when folding it down (hope that makes sense) to pack it out and help stop the window from creasing. I have carried on doing it and the rear screen it not too bad. You might get the odd crease but don't think you will have any worries with it cracking for a few years as mine is several years old and still OK.

Yes use a towel rolled up along its longest part betwwen the folds as you lower the roof. Excellent tip I learned from Wiz also a member on here. Another tip is not to leave it down indefinitely, easy to pop up to the targa position if your out and about and then park up. not there are many days to do that left. Enjoy

You could also try a cut down piece of one of those long sponge things the kids use in the swimming pool or a door draught exluder. Both work well.

i use the towel to,always good if you get caught in the rain to,you can dry yourself off

If it creases badly try some heat on it like a hairdryer on warm, not hot!

I would also take account of the weather when putting the rear section down. If it is really cold I only ever drive the car as a targa due to risk of splitting the screen

Good point Mark, they can become brittle in the cold.

I really like idea of cutting down a swimming toggle the towel always makes nervous. I friend of mine had a brown trouser moment when I'm his v8s the towel somehow ended up flying over his head on a spirited run. I have no idea how this even possible but what he said.
