Shooting towards the sun

Ok the other day i was doing a shoot which for the first time i was having to shoot into the sun now useing the poloriser did help to a point but still ended up with a few cases of bad lens glare and haze. does any one have any tips for this situation when you have no choice but to shoot into the sun.
below are some examples of the issues iv had mainly at top left of shot as that was roughtly where the sun was.

Did you use dedicated lens hoods on the lenses?
You can get a 'flag' (black painted aluminium) on an articulated arm attached to your tripod, or use a piece of black card clipped to one of those flexible arms which attaches to your camera hot shoe;
position it to cut down on stray light hitting the front element.
I know that modern coatings on front lens elements are very good
but there is no substitute for trying to ensure that unwanted light
doesn't reach the front element in the first place.

Nick has that Sag had a recent colour change - sure I saw it Havant way in the summer and it was green?
Regarding shooting into the sun, the wider angle your lens the harder it is to eliminate or even minimise. TBH the ones you've posted don't look at all bad for flare but in future just work with it- either with your processing style already in mind or by finding a compositional way to block the sun.

no And this is the original colour as it was a tvr car i think the one you saw was a guy called deans which also has black and silver plates.
yeah i should of postedan un PP 'd shot as i have fettled alot with thease to reduce the glaire and in some shots i like glaire because it can work but just not for these ones lol.

Phil the only reason that by nwvt was on the shots was because its part of the bbc codeing from flickr sorry for not editing it out.
It was not my place to be advertising and i was just showing my latest work as i thought people would like it.
i very rarely get comments when i post in here and this threads main purpose was for help regarding shooting towards the sun for shots.
and was surprised for people to also comment on just the shots.
sorry for coursing some sort of offense as it was posted in here about the new way for posting flickr pics and it was not mentioned about editing the codeing.

For the sake of clarity can you confirm that the signature in question was a link to the OP's flickr, albeit seeming to use a domain name as part of the flickr ID? There was a recent thread in Website Feedback where Mr Will sorted it so we can post straight from flickr using a 'Share via BBCode' option, which includes a text link as the OP commented above. Is it really that different to have a text link rather than just the image link?

You're correct in guessing NWVT's link looks like a pure domain name, even though Flickr generated it.
Well have a talk about in the mods forum and get back here later.
