Your shave routine

I'm interested in what people use during their shave routine. I've heard of people using masses of products, and people using barely any, or none.
So, what do you use? I'm currently experimenting after using an electric shaver for a long time.
I use a Gillette Fusion razor, and currently using the Gillette Fusion Tough Beard shaving gel for the first pass, then following up with a second pass (and third if needed) with hair conditioner! I was then following up with the L'Oreal Men Expert Matte stuff, but it's bloody expensive!
I'd be interested in what others are using!

2) Shave with Tesco Value razor
3) Apply freebie Gillette aftershave gel
4) Bugger off

Oh, I found I can shave even quicker by dragging across to trim the hairs then rather than lifting off, push razor back to original position and re-drag, as if scratching your face quickly. Don't do this with a brand new razor, though, or you'll remove your face. Probably unnecessary if you have multi-bladed razors, I suppose.

You forgot, rub page 46 of GQ magazine (which features free sample of Calvin Klien) round face and neck 1) Wet face with water
2) Shave with Tesco Value razor
3) Apply freebie Gillette aftershave gel
4) Bugger off

I'll be the first to admit a man-fail and say I have sensitive skin 
After years of shaving rash and spots, I found solace in a Philishave Coolskin, the one with Nivea lotion in little sachets. Comfortable and spot-free. Bliss.
Then I dropped it one morning, just around the time Philips changed the design of their shavers. Instead of buying the newer version, I cheaped out and bought a normal philishave, but their old top of the range model. Within a week the spots were back with a vengeance
After several months of bad skin, I've binned it and replaced it with the current Coolskin shaver. After just a couple of days my skin is noticeably better again, and I'm sticking with what I've got.
I'd love to be able to hack away with a tesco value razor and a bar of soap, but I just can't...

No one here shave properly then? This is my routine:
Shave bowl and brush soak in the sink with piping hot water whilst I shower.
Wet face with the piping hot water after show.
Make lather with trumpers shave cream in bowl and apply to face.
Use cut throat razor
Rinse face after with water and use alum block.
Splash face with cold water and apply trumpers after shave balm.
Only takes ten mins and have the closest shave possible.
My skin is also ten times better than when I used gillette

Simply put, I just don't grow enough facial fuzz to warrant that kind of effort. But Shave bowl and brush soak in the sink with piping hot water whilst I shower.
