Cat D on Ebay, Thoughts?

Just in the process of selling my 99 450 Chim and starting to look at T350’s (don’t tell the wife yet!)
I tend to keep “toys” quite a long time so not looking to buy one, run it for a few years and sell it on. Its purely for summer use only.

What are peoples thoughts? Is it a bit expensive hence its still for sale?
I have the space and not frightened of doing the rebuild work my self. I’d want the chassis repair work checking and I’d get it painted professionally to ensure a perfect finish.
It’s the low millage that caught my eye if its genuine? I know about the engine problems but if I look after it, check the oil level regular, warm it up before you rev it to hard etc it “should” last quite a while before needing major engine work. I’m only looking at about 3K miles a year.
I know if you buy a speed 6 then you have to accept it might need an engine rebuild at any time.

Work out what it would cost you to get the car completed. Might not be worthwhile. This car was advertised on PH recently, there was a discussion about it.

Being the owner of a CAT D tread very carefully, 100% trust the guy who put mine back together and still remain in touch. Given the serious front and rear impact damage to mine, it shows a good glass specialist can work wonders, Ryan never hid the mess he started with. Believe mine to be better than factory. Having said that I have put a great deal of money on finishing touches so probably spent the same buying a straight one. SP supplied full geo check which was good enough for me. Mine is a true hybrid / mismatch of bits, to make it unique. Stuff I wouldn't have done to my previous mint version
