I was watching Master-Chef but, recorded Wedding House with the hope that someone would post a critic on here as to whether it was watchable. To be or not to be...

Watched the first ten minutes, utter crap.

Looks like channel 4 knocked together a copy of Don't Tell the Bride in their lunch -break.

Even the wife turned it off after the first one.

There was no point to the show, there is no prize, no competition, no risk the couples do nothing themselves. The wedding is already arranged to spec. They try and cram multiple weddings in so you don't get any real idea of the personalities involved. The wedding planner isn't camp enough the ideas not extreme enough.

And it lacked a sarcastic voiceover.

Well I gave it a go and, glad I did. Thought it complete madness, entertaining (well that is what TV is for) and with the odd moment of, dare I say, tenderness.

Oh and, agree with the voice-over comment; Dave Lamb would go down a storm with the voice-over.
