Why didn't you run them over..?

Try suing the CND for loss of pay...now THAT would be an interesting case! wink

CND. Civil Nuclear Disarmament

I doubt there's any nuclear weapons at Hinckley Point. Idiots.

Did you get a chance to neuter them whilst they were restrained in their chains?

I got to work one morning and found some lentalist leftie tree huggers had dumped grain or hops or something blocking the gates as well as chaining themselves to it - we parked on the road and walked through the side gate.....

OP, why have you lost pay, if your employer has told you not to come in because of protesters then its their decision and shouldnt stop your money, at least you have attempted to get into work? I cant see why they should stop your money for that.

I meant that tongue out

My point stands though. Apparently pissing off Aldermaston employees isn't enough any more.

Turn the car round, reverse the car up so the rear of it is level with the protestors and more importantly the exhaust pipe(s) is/are staring them in the face.

Leave car running for a while on high tickover.

Just a thought.

Most nuclear organisations will honour payments in these circumstances. They've contracted you to work on their site. They have failed to provide the means to do that and the short notice prevents you from seeking employment elsewhere.

Personally, I would invoice them for you time anyway. At least speak to your contract manager and ask them if they will pay you.

I live very close to AWE at Aldermaston. Sadly not been unable to get to work yet!

The greenies do turn up occasionally, last time they blockaded a gate which isn't used daily. Seems the police opened the gate so the morons could blockade it. silly

Love it.

Or you could get a few employees to come out in full NBC gear; with a geiger counter rigged to go off when next to the soap dodgers.

Even better if you lean out of the window and shout move or the environment gets it, and then rev your engine. If they don't move then sit happily at 5krpm massacring polar bears.
