What does everyone think of 5th gear then?

(Presumably that marks the end of top gear for good - it seems the BBC has decided to replace it with two outstandingly dull "sensible" motoring programs - it puzzles me that they appear to be car programs for ppl who aren't interested in driving ....how does that work?)

It'll be interesting to see how Clarkson gets on now. Expectations will be so high...

As long as he incorporates some vegetable microwaving and the kitchen spud gun, I think he'll be ok.

quite liked that "dull bbc programme" - the second one you understand - not that "out of her depth" girlie taking on the bad guys!
Best bitr was where they made the dealer squirm. Grrrreat!

But I hate mudflaps. Why do people ask for them, they look frigging awful imo.

But why don't new cars come with mudflaps as standard anyway??? (or used cars, for that matter)
They always seem to really push for them as if they would cost considerable expense to buy afterwards!!

Very annoying program full of bulit designed for retards who don't know the difference between petrol and diesel.

Some countries require them to be fitted by law!

I amazed these guys are so obsessed with mudflaps - do they actually work i.e. keep the whole car clean ?

I think you miss the point. It's getting one more over on the dealer and just watching their faces as they squirm. AND yes the mats and flaps could cost a considerable amount if they are the genuine thing. I presume you would fit things from Auto World?
