993 Test Drive - any tips

Right guys, after last weekends excitement in the 348 this week I'm driving the 'sensible' choice a 993. Planning to go for a test drive in a 993 Cab (1996 varioram manual) and a 1996 Coupe Triptonic. No idea about the triptronic, but figured I should at least give it a chance...

Any of you got any good tip of what to look for / where to look on a 993?

Scan this list over the last week - some buying points for 993s were recently mentioned. Main danger is wiring loom apparently on pre 1995 cars, but no point us all rewriting everything unnecessarily down here.

To drive, the 993s are brilliant. Never driven a 348, but looked at one, and the build integrity of the 993 should impress (although not really slagging off the 348 craigw!).

Main thing is enjoy yourself!
