I've always quite liked Mercs, styling-wise, until now. However, I think they're about to go down the Scorpio (a.k.a. wide mouthed frog) route of making a car different for the sake of it, forsaking "stylish" for "eyecatching". The best compliment I can pay the car is to call it dowdy. Am I alone?

It's plain ugly. I wonder if we will ever get used to it...a lot of cars that look ugly initially either eventually grow on us or every other manufacturer copies them until they don't look so uniquely ugly anymore.
