I have tried about 6 off ebay and none of them have bothered to reply; business must be good. I'm lookign for a regular courier too.

If I use Parcel2Go, I have to send 4 tyres as 4 parcels with a standard charge of £11 each (Insured).

The person who bought them will not pay more than £25 delivery, fair enough!

£44 to send 4 tyres seems a bit steep.

Anyone know of a reliable and reasonably priced courier please?

How much do Tyres weigh?

http://www.senditnow.com

Wrap them in pairs and send them as two packages. Package can weigh upto 30KG, you're talking roughly £24 for all 4.

Puts a lot of people off.

I sold a heavy item for a car the other week for £200 (price new is £4990).

The winning bidder wanted carriage thrown in, I said no but would go halves and he would not budge and refused the option to collect it.

I said he could find and book his own but he said it was OK, I could do it rolleyes

Carriage was £70 but people just don't want to pay for it.

I had someone else buying a set of wheels and tyres, wanted free carriage or I could pay for his petrol and hotel accomodation (on a £275 set of alloys). Probably would have ended up me giving him money! Some people expect a lot eh!
