"The judge gave Burton a community order, with supervision for 12 months. He must attend a Thinking Skills Programme at the Mansfield office of the Probation Service."

Some would argue that the judge should also attend.

"Burton said he knew they were bullets and that he had found them two weeks previously – under insulation in the loft as he prepared the area for the cannabis grow."

Well I'm convinced yes sir. I mean its not as if drug dealers are known to use guns is it. Just a coincidence

Oh wait

"The court heard Burton started offending in 1998. In 1999, he got a conviction at Derby Crown Court for possession of a firearm without a certificate"

hmm I suppose he found that as well did he.

These judges out to be made to live next to these aholes.

It could have been ammunition left over from the gun he had in 1999, there really isn't much they can do about it unless they have evidence.

He had amunition illigally and was found guilty of that offence. What more evidence do they need? he pleaded guilty.

What is the worst punishment they could give him for that?

I hope its more than a thinking course.

never mind according to the police

"The maximum penalty for illegally possessing a gun or ammunition is up to 10 years in prison or a fine (or both"

Hmmm so the judge could have given him time. A man with previous convictions for fire arms. and he got a thinking course.
