I have been offered one of these for £170 in tip-top condition by a colleague at work. I am thinking about getting back in to mountain/off road biking and thought this would be a cheap starter bike for this winter.
Does any one know if this would be a good price? I can't find much on the net regarding it.

Nothing earth shatteringly good, but a solid starter would have been about £300-£400 brand new. I'd say it would be lucky to be worth about £100 if it was a 2009 and in tip top shape.
Not sure if there is really a market for this type of bike in the second hand world.
