Energy price predictions - any experts in the house?

Hi All

I am just about to re-sign a number of small sites for gas and electricity and am slightly unsure which way to go.

Normally I favour a fixed contract with floating rate. However, Eon has offered a 3-year deal with fixed rates for gas.

When any provider of anything offers to fix prices I always assume that they think prices will fall. I know that is not strictly true, but on average my cynicism has served me well to date!

So, can anyone advise me on where enery prices are going over the next couple of years?
