Kind of just want to show off really

Well I think it is a reason to show off.

Did my fist proper long distance ride on sunday. The Actions Arrows 100, for Action Medical Research.

The total was 103.8 miles, time in the saddle was 6 hours 44 mins.
I was aiming for 7:45 so am well chuffed, although still sore today.

Now he just needs to say something like:

"What do you think I would have done it in if I'd have changed my full susser on knobblies for a road bike?"

Haha, I would love to be able to say that... alas I was on a road bike, a rather nice one if I may add too.

It is... My step father is a VERY keen cyclist, having competed for GB in a number of competitions over the years. This is one of his bikes, he was very kind and leant it to me.
