Front Splitter

Any of you who also keep an eye on the Chimaera and Griff forums may have noticed that small front splitters are quite popular, claims are better high speed stability,improved cooling and less bonnet lift (not relevant to an S).

Various materials have been used, alloy, stainless steel, fibre glass or, as I and others have used, pvc rainwater guttering !

Yep, sounds and looks bit crude but guys who have fitted them swear they work, maybe find out when we hit those French Motorways in a few days ?





And yes, car will be washed before we go

On the Cerbera the spoiler faces the opposite way (Warning - Potential hornet's nest alert! )

Yeah, lot of discussion about this but "looks" right this way round ?

Yeah there was always too much ground clearance under the nose of an "S" I felt

I found one of those on the grass at SCH this year... tried to sell it to Tom but he wouldn't cough up... I bet its on his Chim now ?

In my defence "your honour" after large quantities of beer and cider, not forgetting the numpty who produced a full bottle of scotch just as everyone was going to go to bed, i did wonder how a very nice original fibreglass splitter came to be in my boot on sunday morning at S club. Kev i know you have a "thing" for me, especially now i have a CHIM, but you must stop putting things in the rear [of my car] especially without my knowledge.[ i must of had too much scotch] And yes it is now on my chim and it looks and does a wonderful job! Thank you Kev will put something in your rear at S club 2011, Tom.

You are so mean ! you would never have bought one So finding one in your boot made you fit it eh ? I just hope you dont find some elastoplast sometime
