Historic Racing Mag Online
Internet home for historic racing fans
Historic Motor Racing News, the monthly magazine, has just launched its new website. Aimed at drivers, teams, support crews and spectators as well as the race organisers themselves, the website aims to provide a useful source of information on the European Historic race calendar.
"We plan to provide a forum for all those involved in the Historic motor racing world, " says Carol Spagg, editor of Historic Motor Racing News and organiser of the Gentleman Drivers race series. "We’re particularly pleased with our bulletin boards as a means of sharing information. For example, subscribers can post messages to announce space in a truck or trailer, or if they need a car transported to a meeting. There are also bulletin boards for hotel and restaurant recommendations, and a general forum for comments, reports on events – or just for those who want to share an experience. The site was designed by Classic Driver, and our brief was to create something ‘simple, elegant and easy to use’. We think they’ve succeeded ."
Historic Motor Racing News is now in its 10th year and the site reflects its close involvement with the Historic movement. There are excerpts from Historic Motor Racing News magazine, calendars and a link to interesting ‘cars for sale’ from classicdriver.com.
Competitors in the Gentleman Drivers series have a special section within the website, giving the latest news, plus there’s an extensive ‘address book’ of clubs and race/event organisers. Instead of searching for contact details, it’s now simple to find addresses and telephone numbers at www.historicmotorracingnews.com .

Great! As a fan of the golden oldies I just love the sight of great car pics. But where are they?
Dinkel, have you seen this site?

Yep thanx, but the pics are watermarked . . .
it's annoying but my Dad has ordered a couple of Jim Clark prints from there which were very good. Think he might have got one of Dan Gurney in the Eagle as well.
Love the Porsche pic and the Imp (round Druids?) brings back many fond memories of growing up at Brands and Lydden Hill where my Dad used to race his mini. Speaking of which, do you know any good sites for classic mini pics?
Chris
There must 1000s.
Let's make this a thread with a nice classic car pic per post . . .
