Has anyone had the pleasure of dealing with these guys at the top of boxhill:

I cant rate them highly enough. There website is pretty basic but does state what they stock.
I visted them on saturday afternoon to try/buy some SPD-SL shoes. As it was my first ever pair of road shoes i wanted some advice. Earlier in the day i went to a cycle works shop and left with the result of utter dissapointment. They didnt really want to sell me a shoe, the guy couldnt really recommend anything to me and to top it all off they had nothing in my size, i was assured that i could order a pair in. The problem i had with this was a) i wanted them that day (silly i know, but i have had a set of ulterga pedals buring a hole in my pocket) and b) Why would i order a set of shoes that i havent tried for size or fit. I shortly left after telling them i would give them a call to let them know.
Annoyed with the lack of knowlage and stock of sizes. The seemed a good enough shop with plently of other stock.
So i googled bike shops that were local and found Cycles Dauphin and gave them a chance. I pulled up to which can only be described as a converted house but i proceeded in and was greeted with knowlage, plently of shoes to try and feeling happy (Also some money lighter and an annoyed gf who had been sitting around for about an hour).
So if you havent been before then i suggest you pay them a visit.
Sorry for the long winded post but i was very happy with there service.
So what i am asking is what do people recommend in terms of overshoes?? I would prefer something wind/water proof????

I used to go there a lot when I was into road racing and from a service point of view always found them excellent. Not always the cheapest, but certainly very helpful and knowledgable. Worth going up there just for a drool at some of the porn on display 
Not sure where you are based but Corridori are also pretty good in Banstead / DriftBridge. Or of course Sigma Sport in Kingston.
