Got to love the TVR 'fellowship'

The last few times I've been out in the Chim I've been lucky enough to see other TVRs.

Every time I approach one I wonder if they will spot me, and sure enough we exchange waves or a flash of the lights. Tonight I needed to get out of a side road and spotted another TVR approaching in the traffic that I needed to merge into, sure enough he spotted me and let me out with a smile and I replied with a similar grin and a

It always makes me feel good inside for a few minutes after an 'exchange' with another owner, and for me it adds a lot to the ownership experience. It's great isn't it?

I've found it also extends to Morgan,Caterfields and British classic drop tops from E type to TR - always good for a wave or a nod .

I can easily top that in a very, very sad way. We hve recently lost a well regarded TVR S owner to the dreaded big 'C'.

The response to a call for help to support the guy's widow has been fantastic. A number of P'heads are prepared to give up their time etc to help.

I remember, a few days into TVR ownership with my old Wedge, waiting at a junction with fast flowing traffic. Along came a Cerbera and sure enough, he slowed everyone down and let me out.

Such a good feeling.
