Since i bought my Chim in January 2006, (having added 38,000 miles) i've had a fair bit done to fettle her into the car she is now - quick, balanced and reliable. But i have not spent a penny on the cosmetic appearance... until now!

I have engaged the expert services of our very own Waxwork Jock, to move the battery into the boot for extra passenger comfort, tidy up a few bits, professionaly sort out all of the scuffs and irritating little paintwork scratches, front end and boot respray, re-colour the leather seats, and generally bring her back to her former showroom glory... and then we will start on the Tuscan!

I'll then be looking to one of our local photographer experts to capture the end result for posterity.

scratchchin perhaps we should have a public unveiling around 5:45 one Friday evening hehe

Good to hear, maybe see if Charlie and Co. would like to provide you with a nice new ECU and bigger injectors and map it to give you even more power. To keep the thames valley theme going that is. hehe

If he is heading over to yours let me know when and I'll pop around with the M3 so he can take a look at the front bumper.

Interested in this, would like to use same to cosmetic fettle the Cerb back to a sparkle, including some spray on the schnozz. Off to Spa in October so might as well get that jaunt out of the way first however smile

yes Its work in progress at the moment Al, but he's just started on the paint and scratches,... then there will be the door edges and stone chips. Pop round tomorrow if you like, i think he'll be working here again - or give him a call. I have his number if you dont

Im glad someone else is looking after there car. You wouldn't believe how much scratches, rds, holograms and swirls can dull the paint. Just look at mine before the sunday hoon. Pic of a 50/50 of my car, you really can see the difference.
