Even though the workshop is closing the accessories side is going to continue. We have some very knowledgable TVR people poised to take over from us but until then Jules will continue to run it. Some of the items that have been out of stock for sometime are about to be re-run so call her now to get your orders in.

My car was only in there about a month ago, and was planning to have a few other bits & pieces done over the next few months.
Do I take it that the servicing side of things will not continue under new ownership. It is very convenient for me as it is within walking distance of my workplace.
Getting it down to Kent or up to Castle (who I was never that impressed with TBH) is going to be a bit of a hassle.

It is a big shame that Simon and Jules have taken the decision to leave the TVR circle.
I am not sure where to take mine now, Leven is very close to me and I have always been very impressed by Simon's knowledge and workmanship.

This will be key to the continuity of the business. If the people concerned are well known within TVR circles and/or a new arm of an established business (TVR Power, STR8SIX etc, unlikely I know but we can dream) then I would anticipate a successful migration and a continued level of excellent service.I am waiting to see what happens as they are my local centre and if the business moves to a safe pair of hands I'll certainly support them.
I've also had a number of excellent services/experiences at LT. The simple things like pick up and drop off to the station into London really made the difference to me. Plus they were local which is a bonus. I do hope the servicing business is taken over.

I was at the open day aswell although I took my Toyota there as I had to go down to Romford afterwards. Had my servicing and work done there ever since.
They are always helpful and are one of the most respected TVR specialists around. Booking mine in for its last Service in May and subsequent Radiator replacement, there was a two month lead time before they could do it as they were so busy, which is always a sign of a good garage/service centre.
I would now only consider taking mine down to Dan Taylor, as I was always impressed with his work. I imagine a lot of people will now transfer their servicing and work to him, being ex-Leven and widely regarded in TVR circles.
