I need a 'live catch' wild rabbit cage trap. Any recommendations?

It needs to be as low cost as possible, yet durable and effective.

Thanks in advance.

'Shooting and eating' is very much part of the plan. lick

However I can't shoot in the field since a well-used footpath runs very close to where they congregate. The footpath is bordered by thick undergrowth, so you can't see if there's anyone there or not.

You're going to trap it in a box and then shoot it? Damned unsporting that man, harrumph.

Why not take the hassle out of it and just go to a pet shop?

Couldn't you lamp them at night or is the footpath used at night too?

Find the burrow, buy a ferret, and buy some nets.
