...Just wondering what kit you all use and whats the kit you use most often etc? any info would be greatly appreciated

Frequently:
Nikon D200
Nikkor 17-55mm f2.8
Sigma 70-200mm f2.8
Nikon SB-800

Sometimes:
Nikkor 50mm f1.4
Sigma 10-20mm
Manfrotto 055 ProB

- plus spare D200 and SB-800 as backup.

Equipment-wise I'd say the most important things are fast lenses and a beefy flash.
