personally i am of the opinion that nothing off the peg can be considered beautiful, after all beauty is in hte eye of the behodler!.... if its off the peg there is a compromise somewhere so a truly beautiful bike must be a custom one-off, your own interpretation....

Beautiful or purposeful? They're hardly elegant but my favourite looking bikes are probably the Orange 223 and the big-hit rocking-arm Konas of a few years back. Still on tn the MTB side, Santa Cruz has done some interesting looking designs.

I am on the waiting list for a Vanilla bike, so will show you when I get it :-).

In the meantime I have 3 other beautiful bikes, 2 of which are the only ones in the UK (1 of which is number 7 of 7 made).

My bikes: Ellsworth Ride Commute (1 pic), Autum Minion (2 pics), Genesis Croix De Fer (no pic, google it).
