Vid from in my car on the sprint

I will upload the others later but this was me "trying" a 1st gear take off run as an experiment. As you can see it was not the best of ideas particularly when you start to go towards the wall.

I went back to using 2nd to start from then - even with a first gear mess up though I went through in 11: something on the run.

The vid is meant to be high def so i will probably upload it again later, I will also upload the others I took including the quickest of the day.

Once again a big thanks to all that organised and worked on the day.

Paul, what size diff you running, see you had to grab 4th over the line.

It sounds a lot quieter than the other one or two vids I have seen from the outside.

Have you thought about fitting racelogic T/C to it?

Hi Paul, 3.08 - same as yours i think? It was a crap run and the 1st gear take off did not work so I just grabbed fourth at the end as I was not that impressed with myself. I will upload another one or two when I can and you will see I keep it in third - I really only need third about 135ish. I was nowhere near where I should have changed from second to third either but I had to try and stop the spinning, you cannot hear it but it was spinning past 100 on that surface.

If I would have thought about it a bit more I may have even tried a launch in third.

I went in Boosted cerbs LS cerb and that had racelogic. I was very impressed, it was very adjustable so you have a bit of back end fun out of a junction if you wanted. It also had a launch control function on it. It was very smooth and did not feel invasive at all

On the surface that seems a mad idea, but since 3rd accelerates at more than a 10mph increase per second with your level of power (which also has the ideal delivery as it isn't an on/off turbo motor either), it isn't as initial wheelspin would be eliminated and also time wasted changing gear would go too

Another reason to get everyone on the strip

Impressive runs Paul. Those walls look scary and I saw the one where your spinning wheels started to push you towards them but you didn't 'bottle it'. Nice one.
