Corroded aluminium frames, restoration of
Discussion
Alumninium windscreen frame, possibly anodised. Out in all weather and now with a nasty 'speckled' look from corrosion.
I thought wet and dry paper and/or metal polish would clean them up beautifully, but having tried an easy bit, the speckles are still visible and the rest of it looks worse... is there anything out there that will do the job please?

I'd have thought a few different grades of metal polish should bring it back, starting with quite a rough compound and slowly refining the finish.
Perhaps tape up the area and use a mop in a drill.
Screwfix do a kit, not tried it.

Not the best video but shows what to do.

I once used Chemico paste with a damp cloth to clean a ford transit luton aluminium body, can be purchased from most Hardware stores;
