If there's some sort of flavouring (e.g. cocoa, vanilla etc.) mixed with the cream cheese and it's also sweetened, I suspect they're unlikely to realise it's cheese. Just make sure it's just a dislike of cheese (imagined or otherwise) & not lactose intolerance you're dealing with before giving them a slice..........

If its lactose intolerance just expect some amusing bodily fireworks about 20 minutes after they've consumed it. Wont do them any harm, the other guests may want to give them a wide berth for a while though If they are lactose intolerant suspect buttercream isn't going to be much better.

There's probably some lacto free product available to take the place of the cream cheese, but then you will probably sacrifice a little on flavour for the rest of the 'NORMAL' people attending your meal
