Title says it all really, have a D300 which i adore so something relatively small to augment it when i simply cant be arsed to take it to yet another wedding would be much appreciated. Have to be able to play with the s/a/m/p etc etc

My best mate just informed me he is in NYC tomorrow until Tuesday so dont have much time to research this so lets hoep there is a consesus!!

Panasonic LX5.

$499 from Adorama on 42nd & 18th.

There'll be an 8% NYC sales tax on top (I think) taking it to $538 but with a dollar rate of approx $1.5/£1 that gives a sterling price of £359...

Several UK retailers are offering it for less than this... at ~£353.

Agree with above suggestions, would also recommend the Canon S90 (now updated to S95) if you wan't something truly compact yet still with a decent image and full manual / RAW if required.

prob only be the single lens kit im sure you will get a import or used one

i paid £599 for the twin lens kit superb bit of tech

FFS - since when have we not been ripped off for camera gear ...most disappointed!!
