The cigarette lighter onthe S3 type dash, just right for bashing my left knee on. Yes the easy cure is to leave it out,that worked until I needed to use socket to charge Sat Nav.
So its been moved a few inches .........



Wiring had to be extended a little( but even had right colours thanks to a "scrap" loom from Norman)and old hole has been filled with a bung thing used on mains electrical stuff

I've added a second on the other side as the centre console already has the holes to do that (I assume for LHD cars), they are just taped over and covered with the leatherette. Piggy back it off the power supplies of the current one.
