My Garage has a corrugated asbestos roof and as a couple of the joists have rotted where it leaks in places I think I will replace the roof when I replace the joists in question next year. I was looking at box section steel sheets for ease of fitting but was wondering if they will suffer with condensation especially when I turn my gas heater on. An alternative could be insulated sheets but I haven't been able to find anything suitable. I don't want to use concrete corrugated stuff though.
Has anyone used anything like this and any ideas would be appreciated. The garage has a concrete wall to the outside and the inside is the house, the roof doesn't have much of a fall either so it'll have to be something along the lines of sheeting.

Thanks for any advice.

Haven't used it myself but would seem to be what you are after--> Clicky and, don't forget to add in the--> Dripstop anti-condensation flock membrain applied on reverse of sheet.

it will condensate, Strip it off replace joists, re-deck it with OSB smart ply and get 2 layers of felt bashed on - will cost about £25 a meter tops and less likely to condensate - you could even throw some isulation on top of new deck for about £6 per meter to be sure

Felt is a PITA and leaks although thinking of the OSB I could put Onduline on top.

My tripple garage is one of the Steel Building type garages with the box section steel sheeting walls and roof (and large translucent sections for keeping things bright inside). The steel roof sheets have the anti-condensation flock coating and TBH I haven't noticed any condensation issues over the 3 years the building has been in use.
