Artimus Challenge 100

I’m doing the Artimus Highland 100 challenge in 2 weekends time, it’s the gold I’ll be popping round on and I’ve got a question about tyres…..
The website says 70% of the course is on road with 40% off road which is obviously an impressive feat.
Lets say they meant 70 / 30 that would mean I’d be on road for 60 odd miles with rest off road. Does this mean using my Orange 5 with my lovely Nobly Nic 2.3 tyres might not be a great idea. I’ve no idea how challenging the off road is so am reluctant to buy hybrid tyres (40 odd quid) and then not enjoy the only bit which my bike is designed for.. otherwise I’d use my road bike.
So has anyone completed the gold course and recommend either way?

from the look of the OS map of the area, their off road route is an unclassified road called "lairig ghallabhaich" which starts at (585480). I guess its a RUPP as far as classification goes and runs north from Innerwick to Loch Tay through Rannoch Forest. I have been through Rannoch Forest before and its pretty easy going, its just a regular forest fire road trail. nice and wide and good for speed. once in the forest its all downhill too....
cant say for sure that the bridlepath is going to be as easy given what the weather could do but i cant see it being that much of a challenging off road route.
if you havea look at the OS map, its pretty easy to work out the route, the off road section is one long section and not split up, tyre-wise, personally i would go with something fast rolling if the weather holds up as it looks exposed on that RUPP so if its been dry it will be clear and the forest roads are usally pretty swift at draining.

So if i were to go for fast rolling summer / hybrid tyres what would you recommend. I really like my NN so something like a ralph might be good tyres?

Just advised my flatmate to do the same actually lol....He's getting them on this weekend for a blast around Glentress so will play on his next week.... although with a week to go starting to get a bit nervous and tbh its a shame more of it isnt off road and single track
I presume by the lack of responses no one else is going?
