You are not alone!

With it now only a couple of months away the 993 will now be having its annual service, disks and pads all round and a couple of bits of body work dealt with all in time for the main event. Having a chat with the ‘old boy’ over a pint only this evening which went something like

“Why do you keep that car, you never use it?”

“Yes I do, I go to Le Mans in it”

And that pretty much sums it up for me, the only disappointment is the seemingly week field at the sharp end with only really the Audis but for me the Group C event before hand is worth the 16th trip alone. and some of this

I'm just having nightmares at the moment. I volunteered to sort out our group's tickets this year and it has been a disaster! The number of "don't knows" and people pulling out, after I'd booked tickets and paid the deposit is insane.
Plus I'm having nightmares trying to sort a car out... Well, fingers crossed and all that!
Roll on June 9th!!

It may be a headache but I don't expect you'll get stuck with a lot of tickets at the end. Flip back through these pages and you'll find people looking for tickets. I'm looking for camping tix for Bleu for example...;

Charles, it's alright we're not dropping out either and in case you can't find a car you can always borrow my wife's MX5 as you like that so much.

My transport is now sorted having bought a sporty little number at the weekend.

LOL! I know you won't be matey! And now I know what name you post under here as well!!

Edited to add: I'm very grateful for your extremely kind offer... But I have to refuse, on the grounds of not wanting to look like a pooftah...
So... What did you purchase then? Do tell...

Unfortunately, our possible extra spare is an all-in thingie. Crossing for a car and two people Newhaven-Dieppe on the Wednesday, return on the Monday, camping in Houx Annexe and 2x race tickets...

You're quite right... It's more just the annoyance that these people (read mates) put you through... Bobo W and his crowd also got their tickets this year through me and he's been 100% no problem at all, apart from having a joking whinge at us for inadvertantly throwing a mini spanner in the works with regard to this year's rugby top colours!
Ignore me, I'm just being a cantakerous b!

Well, good for you!

I'll probably be in contact fairly soon for the final deal, as it were. I'd be expecting the tix through fairly soon. Anyone heard anything so far?

Edited to add: Apologies for 4 posts in a row... Just seemed the easiest way to reply to everyone... I've stopped now, I promise...
