but he did make a good point with regards to the large number of Africans crossing over...

he seems to be with some sort of deal with italy to take in all their refugees - no questions asked
i guess he's thinkin they dont want to be in libya they want europe - so they'll try again and i'll just cash in again.

The BBC covered this a while ago. Libya takes money from EU countries to send these economic migrants back to Africa but before sending them back, they are kept in prison like camps.

When the UN refugee agency complained, he kicked out all the inspectors
