speedo has died

having covering approx 500 miles after a body off rebuild the speedometer has suddenly stopped working any ideas on what to look for the only connector i have checked is the red one from the g/box and this was visual

Mine didnt work after the body lift either then sudenly started again. the only connector I disturbed was the one in the cable from the gearbox under the gearstick gaiter. I had disconnected it and then realised I didn't need to so reconnected.
Thanks for the e-mail on tank frames, I'm considering my options on that one as its posibly repairable.
