Really Fab photos... would be better without so much HDR in my opinion. You have a great eye.

I kind of agree on the HDR, but then in some cases it adds an 'other-worldly feel' to a photo.

Thanks, and yeah i do kind of agree about the HDR being a bit overdone on some photos, but on others it's definately an improvement, just so long as it's kept fairly subtle

You should start a magazine called 'Vouge'. It might catch on!

Shame no one using an iPad can view it.

Not convinced by the rain.

Didn't like the purple Diablo images when I first saw them but took to them more kindly this time. Is that RG's black Enzo?

yeah its a bugger that iphones/ipads dont support flash. i might have to rethink the whole flash portfolio thingy.

I'm not sure who's Enzo it is, it was at the Dunsfold dads day out in May.

Don't change it just because Apple dorks bought something that can't display large chunks of the internet..

Just for laughs, perhaps you could explain what Flash adds to the user experience of a photography portfolio?

Buying an iProduct to use the internet is like buying a hydrogen fuel-cell car. You've bought something very shiny and clever, but what you really need is something that runs on the petrol-based infrastructure that's already in place.

Can you tell me why we shouldn't have Flash just because Jobs got into a pissing contest with Adobe?

Flash is very good when used for what it is intended for - interactivity, client-side processing etc. In other words, when it adds something to the experience that can't be done in a different way. In this case, it's not doing that at all - the gallery can be produced without Flash. It's no different to using any proprietary mechanism - Javascript, for instance - one should provide graceful degradation for users who don't have it.

So I haven't at any point said that people shouldn't use Flash; however they should provide degradation for those who don't use it as any standards compliant website would.

Now, back to my question: what has Flash added to the gallery that couldn't be done without it?
