Lightening the flywheel on the Rover V8?
Quick question - I never hear much about lightened flywheels being used on the Rover V8, I would have thought that with a V8 being so difficult to stall at low revs' this would be a good idea? Or is it already pretty light? Rich...
Mine has been lightened. Spins up a treat. Revs like a good un and no problems with stalling. Done on the rebuild so balanced with the rest of the gubbins.
I think I last took about 5-7lbs off the SD1 flywheel and don't recall there being any problems.
Mine has been lightened. also spins like a fiat twincam now (sounds better though)
