We have recently come back from Greece, and as you do, we are discussing what would be good for next summer.

Our children will be six and three so we are thinking may be a good time to go camping again to France.

Trouble is we always go to the same areas, mainly on the south-west near Bordeaux.

Has anybody here been to some amazing areas/campsites in France that they would suggest to a family with 2 kids.

Any areas you have been to with links to campsites would be great

Many thanks.

We have been to a few of the Le Castles sites always exceptionally well maintained and good facilities for the kids.

La Cascade campsite at the bottom of Alpe d'Huez. Awesome place, stay there all the time. It's roughly 50k (or an hour's drive) from Grenoble. Brilliant scenery, campsite is equipped with both Chalets and good pitches with a decent sized swimming pool. The surrounding area is great for exploring, either on foot or pushbike.
