The Cup Car? No probs, AFAIK... Had all wheels off today prepping for Oulton Park this w/e and all looks good. But then I only did 50 miles that day......

Had the Griffith out of the garage today for the first time since sunday, all seems well but the brakes dont appear to be quite what they were! Dunno why that is but it's certainly pulling well as I nearly spun exiting my rugby club car park on the way home from training tonight!

RUF- After 25 runs to 200mph the only sign of wear are tiny micro cracks around the cross drilled brakes

M5- On the day the CPU was going haywire and went into self preservation mode, but other than that it is fine

The number of people reporting micro-cracked disks would seem to confirm something that I had read elsewhere - that grooved disks are the way to go rather than cross drilling for both performance and longevity.

probably right chris, especially when my helpful local service centre offered to clear the drill holes in my disks for a 'very reasonable' 100 quid(!) , think I'll get the pressure washer out myself thanks!!

The brakes feel fine, the engine is pulling much stronger after its good blow on Sunday (ooo-errr sir )

There is abit of vibration through the steering wheel though, prob cos of the grass cutting exercise I performed Hope its just wheel balancing and not the suspension / steering geometry

Martyn - check you haven't got a lump of mud on the inside of the wheel (a good jet wash sorts it out) - common reason for wobbly wheels after badger chasing!
