Currently considering a new suite and could do with some inspiration.

At the moment we have a DFS corner unit which, whilst very comfortable is starting to look a bit tatty.

Criteria has to be comfort first, then equal on longevity and looks.

What about cost?

It took us (my wife and me) a few years of trying furniture from different suppliers before we found something that we found comfortable, liked the look of and was not out of our price range. If looks and longevity aren't included as major factors you will be replacing sooner than later anyway. So keep with the cheap furniture suppliers.

We have MultiYork sofas in two rooms with the advantage that there are multiple options on the cussion contents to customise the degree of firmness/softness. The oldest were bought in 1994 and are still going strong with replacement cushions and covers.

It's a dilemma isn't it. We paid ~£1.1k for our single seater and fiver seater corner unit, good looks, very comfy but is already starting to look and feel a bit tired and that's at 2.5yrs old.

Of course we could spend double that but it would then have to be a 'timeless' design so as not to go out of fashion, not that our current one is overly fashinalble anyway!

We've got a corner suite from Natuzzi - http://www.natuzzi.co.uk/?gclid=CLKs6_vLwKMCFZL92A...

Huge range of leather colours and more importantly, leather grades. Not cheap but great quality.

I bought a 2 and a 3 seater from Barker & Stonehouse and got a couple of fabulous sofas, excellent service and reasonable price too.
