Any impending airport industrial action in Europe?
Discussion
I'm going to China in October and because direct flights are pretty pricey I'm going to have to do a stopover, my preference is somewhere in Europe.
Some of the flights I've found stop off at either Helsinki (Finnair), Schiphol (KLM) or Paris CDG (Air France). Does anyone know if any of those airports/airlines have impending industrial action in the coming months?
I thought it might be Heathrow and the BAA strikes that would cause me the greatest worry but as of this morning that looks to have been averted.

Never, ever underestimate the French love for striking.
There was a tongue in cheek comment the other day on France24 news about the start of the striking season about to commence, i.e. they've had their summer holidays, now screw everyone else.
With that in mind, avoid Air France-KLM (same company!).
Have you looked at Lufthansa or Swiss (part of Lufthansa) via Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich or Geneva? I think Lufthansa have the best destinations/links for a Euorpean carrier in China?
I flew to China with Lufthansa (Luxembourg via Frankfurt), stopping in Hong Kong in 2007. Cathay Pacific do LHR to HKG with good onward connections too.
Enjoy!

Finnair would probably give you the lowest chance of a strike, once in Helsinki it's just a case of flying over the North Pole and no one strikes there. However they share the route with BA, and you might find yourself missing out because you've orderer a Finnair flight but been stuck on a BA jet!
Thanks guys. I did have reservations about France because of their 'strike rate', but I didn't know Air France and KLM were the same company. My preference was Helsinki anyway, mainly because it's one of the cheapest flights available.
Lufthansa did appear on a search I did but, from what I can remember, they were higher costs so I discounted them. Anything above £700 and I may as well pay for a direct flight. As it is I'm trying to book something in the low £600s, which is what Finnair are offering. I can find cheaper flights but they have stopovers in either Dubai or India, which I don't want to do as the journey time is far greater.
