Both my Tuscan S and another Tuscan Red Rose recorded the 6th fastest speed at the recent VMax day at Bruntingthorpe - 179mph, beating a 4.5 Cerbie by 1mph, and plenty of other exotica by even more! including all the Ferraris and Maseratis!

Three cheers for the Tuscan!!

Twas indeed a right result.

Equalling Tonys Lambo is quite an achievement I reckon.

British is best, apart from the mad Germans...

Yep, but how much luggage could you fit into the Ruf?

Also interesting to see how little performance difference there is between the S and the Red Rose...

Yeah that suprised me too.

Did feel solid so your S must feel stuck to the tarmac with the aero bits and the new suspension points.

You're 'aving a larf. Same gearing, same engine - I'm surprised the RR didn't eek ahead not having a spoiler to slow it down.

Agreed, those spoilers must weigh a bit

Was you doing max revs when you hit the speed trap?
only asking as when i went the trap was to far forward in the runs i did and had loads of revs left.
Unfortunately couldn't do any when they moved it.

Was interesting when I was in Tony's Cerbie how little difference in grunt there was between that and the Tuscan S...

We were going down the straight agains Alfessex (mmm what a colour) and there was VERY little in it.. I think the cerb was passing slightly if I remember rightly//
