A mate at work has leant me this a few weeks ago. Let me know if it's a load of crap. Haven't got round to watching it yet.

it's a very good film I think, as I said so in the other 2 threads about it
you are partially forgiven though as the search is broken.

For some places I have driven through I would probably disagree with you there.

quite a few adverts have ripped it off - i.e the doritos one with the massive dorito in the sky

I watched this for the first time couple of nights ago, at first i thought it a little stupid, however by the end I loved it, despite some rather obvious flaws. I thought it a very different concept to the normal sci fi alien type films, infact, I might put it on again tomorrow night!

I liked it. A welcome change from huge budget Hollywood mindless pap, different enough to be more 'real' with a not-so subtle message.

Within the realms of "what if" I found the film to be quite plausible, the fact that it is set in S.Africa just adds to the "look, see, what if" aspect.

The premise of the film is that the "aliens" are low grade workers with limited intellect and so having ended up foisted on our planet, have no "high tech" skills, after all they just push buttons and make sure whatever the ship they are on is doing, does so having lost that, they are then reduced to an impoverished state.

I found the film highly intriguing and loved the metamorphosis of the main protagonist, who discovers "the other side" through his physical changes and realisations.

The film also ends with a "what if" and potential for a sequel, will "Chris" deliver on his word, and what will be that delivery, will Chris bring a major invasion or just turn up with a support and rescue crew??

Theyd better do a sequel in 3 years and 3 months from the original release date, or whatever the time frame chris gave was.

I liked it.

It was refreshing to see the aliens bypassing the USA for a change.
